The
Corporate/Agency Sustainable Development Award (CASDA) of ISEG
is awarded at each biennial symposium to recognize the contributions
of business organizations, and non-governmental agencies to sustainable
development. Nominations are made to the central committee of
ISEG, which will liaise with the Local Planning Committee Chair
of each symposium, to select the awardees about two weeks before
symposium. The awardees will be announced and their contributions
read during the opening ceremonies or closing dinner of each
symposium. A plaque or certificate of award will be presented.
·EVALUATION CRITERIA
- Documented contributions of the organization to
projects that enhance one or more aspects of sustainable development.
- Evidence of responsible care exhibited by the organization in
the execution of its business and/or other operational activities.
- Contributions of the organization to research,
community enlightenment and educational activities on issues that
directly relate to energy
and geomaterials applications in economic development.
NOMINATION PROCESS AND DEADLINE
Any member of the public can nominate an organization for this
award by providing the following documents
1. Submission of a completed nomination form
2. Submission of a summary of the contributions
of nominated organization to sustainable development that satisfy
one or more of the evaluation criteria listed above
